I'm starting a new role in 3 weeks time and would absolutely love to finally get on top of my weight problem.

I'm someone who would be motivated by a decent initial loss ( even though I know this is mostly water and easier at the start ) but then hope to carry on sensibly just cutting out the crap

56 years of age , 5ft 4 and 15 stone

What could you experienced losers 🤭🤭 recommend for me to lose something to boost my confidence to meet these new people in 3 weeks time ?

I was considering doing a Slimfast style diet for the 3 weeks ? Maybe to 800kcals a day ?

Any other suggestions, thank you all 🙏

Start building better habits one at a time. E.g. drink enough water daily til that doesn't seem too difficult. Then add some more veg to each meal or reduce portion size a touch. Keep that going til that's just automatic. Add something else.

Don't bother with the slimfast crap.

In your position I would limit carbs, eat more veg, drink 2l of water every day, and get more active.

You'll notice a difference in how you feel by the time you start your new job Smile

Good luck!

This is useful for after .. but not for this initial period where I'm hoping to lose as much as possible leading up to new role
Thank you for reply

Yip , the lowest possible carbs seems to be the way .. 3 weeks should be manageable

Then incorporate healthier habits for good
Thank you
