75 short days to wellness

Hello,
I keep starting and re-starting and the last time I did really well was when I had a thread on here. And so I am going to do it again!!

I am … going to post everyday
…going to plan and prepare my meals
… eat whole foods only with the exception of protein powder
….drink two litres of water per day
…..Work out three times a week
……move more every day
…..take a daily picture when I wake up
……I am going to prioritise getting it done imperfectly eg work out in jeans/pj’s if it means it gets it done.

Anyone is welcome to join me!!

I have hip arthritis and so all my work outs are low impact.
I am chronic pain but there is a lot of evidence that weight training now can prolong how long until I will need a replacement.

My day 75 will be Saturday 10 December

Thanks @KrankySchwester - I did enjoy my treats!! I have kept treating myself this weekend. BUT!! I am booked in to exercise on Monday at 9.30am and I am going to conquer this start stop cycle!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend!!

Glad to see you’re sticking at it. It’s a bumpy road but keep going. Fall down 7 times, get up 8.

@Kenwouldmixitup thank you so much for your encouragement.

I went to exercise, I have drunk my water, I have eaten regularly and well! I have re-started the 75 days hard app because last time I did this I stuck to it - I think I liked seeing the days stack up visually.

Day one 😊is a good day so far!!

Day six

So I have made it to three workouts at the place. The PT is so sweet and friendly.

BUT, on Tuesday I got a HUGE headache and my period started a week early. I felt terrible Wednesday and Thursday and only started to feel better Friday. I have noticed in the past that even the hint of a low carb diet triggers a period.

This is tricky because the only diets that have worked for me have been low carb (not no carb, not even as extreme).

Also, when I up my water intake my body reacts with raynards syndrome and I go incredibly cold.

The good news is that the exercise has really helped my hip a lot.

But between extra periods and being freezing - this is usually when I stop!! Does anyone else get these weird reactions to diet, exercise and water?!!

Next weeks goal is just to do three workouts and try and get through these symptoms to wellness!
