Exercise calories when on feet all day?

Hi,

I wouldn't class myself as an active person but for 2 days a week when working I'm on my feet from 07:15am - 20:45pm (student nurse).

In terms of calculating how many calories I need, would you say this is classed as sedentary or light exercise?

The other days I'm off I'd do significantly less steps (I don't track how many) so I'm very unsure.

Thank you for any advice Grin

I'd say light exercise to medium. They will be very heavy days but only twice brings it down.

You need to be careful at double counting the calories. If you use my fitness pal, set it at maintenance otherwise it allows more calories per day because you exercise but also allows you more when you do exercise. I hope that makes sense.
