Haven't put on any weight. Weighed myself this morning expecting the worst. Haven't lost anything either which annoyingly means I probably would have done had I not deviated from the weight loss plan! I had upped the exercise and I do weights.

I now need to get back on track and not delude myself I can continue eating rubbish and get away with it.

5 weeks till we go away. Need to galvanise my willpower. Any tips? I've already told DP to lock away the stuff he buys as treats. He has cast iron willpower, I'm not even going to try as it's another challenge I don't need.

I find if I exercise and focus on eating well then I’m more likely to stick to the plan. But it sounds like you are already doing that.

I think it’s important to realise that falling off the diet wagon is life, you didn’t put the weight on in one day so another day of not eating well isn’t going to stop your progress. Just try and make sure you get back on it.

Maybe try meal planning and finding some new meals? Or get yourself a new dress/ swimwear and leave it hanging up in your bedroom?

Thanks for this - I've realised I am premenstrual which doesn't help. It's been a couple of weeks or so of eating and drinking off plan followed by cutting back, which is fine if you want to maintain, but not if you want to lose fat. I've also had disturbed sleep which leads to poor choices for me.

Anyway, I've a gym session booked later this morning so will go for a walk beforehand. I've upped my exercise which I think is why I'm hungrier, but haven't put on weight.

I did an online shop yesterday and have a stack of healthy stuff I like, but which is easy to prep and cook, to collect later.

Sleep deprivation definitely leads to bad choices and snacking! Have you tried doing some meditation or yoga before bed? There is lots on sleep hygiene online which might be worth a look.

I hope you enjoyed your gym session. Have you thought about joining one of the challenge threads on here if you haven’t and post your intentions for the day?

Morning - I've got a mega migraine at the moment. Woke up around 4.30 and took sumatriptan. Had to repeat when I got up about an hour ago. Not great. Anyway, I've weighed myself and and I have lost a kilo so things are moving in the right direction again. My sleep is always disturbed for a few days before a period and migraines are part of it.
