Any suggestions? I am peri-menopausal, veggie and probably not getting enough protein. I am making a trip to Holland Barrett soon but am confused by the vast variety of protein powders. Looking for
not too expensive
no sugar
not too sweet
easily usable in smoothies or shakes?

I like the PHd Plant protein powders and bars.

Pea. It’s not something positively delicious but I’m lactose intolerant and trying to build muscle so it’s okay if we’ll disguised (or chugged).

Well^ disguised.

Thanks both. I will try them. Love your user name @HinchcliffeandMurgatroyd:) A Murder is Announced is one of my favourite underrated Christies!

Bulk Powders Pure Protein powder is veggie. Buy it online. They have offers on all the time and a range of different flavours.

My favourite is Free Soul. They do vegan protein powders and vegan complete meal replacements.

second bulk. I get their unsweetened vegan protein powder. I prefer to add in my own sweetness than use the flavour ones which have sweetners in.
