Losing weight during peri: why is it so hard for me???

Hi all, hoping the hive mind can offer me some insights and advice for losing weight. I’m 49, in peri - menopause and have been using HRT for the last couple of months. In the past I’ve followed Fast800 and dropped loads of weight (9lbs) in the first week and then it’s naturally slowed down but still losing 2 or 3lbs.

Put loads back on so started again a couple of weeks ago. Well the weight just isn’t shifting. I’m eating exactly the same as I have in the past but scales are barely moving. I lost 2lb in week one and in week 2 I’ve barely shifted a pound. I’ve been doing walking, getting good quality sleep and drinking loads so have no idea what I’m doing wrong.

I can only assume it’s the HRT which is slowing everything down. I’m on patches for oestrogen and the mirena for progesterone.
Feeling so fed up.

My skin feels really good now I’m back to eating no junk but why is my weight not shifting? If anyone can offer me advice I’d be grateful.
