Yeah - I'll try. Would help to have something to aim for/support. Have been trying to lose weight for a bit (DD3 now 8 months) by exercising more (hard with 3), eating maybe a bit less but I'm a bit hopeless on that front and I decided to give up alcohol for January. Heaven knows what possessed me as now I'm really grumpy and finding even harder to eat less and in 2 weeks I don't think I've lost any weight. Anyway if I could lose 7 lbs and get a better tummy I'd be a happy camper so I'm up for it ! Anyone else ? Any tips gratefully received

Can I join you please?!
I need to lose 6lb in 2 weeks. I go back to work on the 4th Feb and could do with shifting this bit of weight so I can fit in some of my pre-pregnancy work clothes (as opposed to wearing my maternity clothes) lol!
I've got my pedometer on today and am aiming for 10,000 steps to get shifting some calories...

Sorry I disappeared for a while! Right, weighed in this morning at 12 stone 2lbs (eek). Have been very good today - museli and skimmed milk, 2 carrots, home-made soup plus 1 slice brown bread, 1 apple. planning on making potato curry for tea - quite a lot of potato but only a teaspoon of fat, lots of spices and a teeny portion of rice. trying to stick to 1500 cals per day. think i've had about 550 today, so still have 950 left. think the curry will be about 700 (including the rice) and will have low fat hot choc & biscuit later in the evening, so probably about 1400 today. have walked to pick DS up from school, so that's a mile and a half clocked up. also doen a bit of gardening. How are you doing you doing Guard and Red?

Well done Go!
I'm 11 stone 6lbs, was really good yesterday.. until the evening.
I had cornflakes with skimmed milk, small glass of pure orange juice. Then noodles for lunch, chicken stroganoff for dinner.
Then in the evening I ruined it all by eating a twix, 3 pieces of toblerone and a chomp.

How do you quit the evening munchies habit? That is the bit I find so bloody difficult! Any tips....

I walked just over 7000 steps yesterday. Finding it nigh impossible to get over 10,000 steps in. I spent almost all day at the zoo on Monday walking about and still only made it to 8,500!

Count me in, have loads more to loose but im thinking bitsize chunks is the way to approach being a fattie.
Have been going by bike to school each day about a 5 mile round trip. but realy realy have got to get my arse in gear and STOP EATING CRAP

Gah! I've done it AGAIN!
Been super god all day and then been a total prat and eaten junk this evening... sob!
Had conflakes and skimmed milk, pure orange juice. spag bol (small portion) for lunch. Toast for dinner as I wasn't hungry, and then a twix and a small bag of minstrels this evening. If I could just cut out the chocolate I'd be much better off.
Nevermind - try again tomorrow. Good news is there is no more chocolate in the house now.

Can I join please ? I need just to lost the last 7 pounds of my baby weight. It doesnt seem like much does it but it makes such a huge difference to the fit of clothes etc. My pre pregnancy jeans are just that bit too tight. Does anyone else find that if they eat a large breakfast (healthiest meal of the day and all that....) that they just continue to eat more and more all day. If I dont eat breakfast I tend to be able to keep a lid on my eating much more successfully.

RedFraggle · 26/01/2008 09:38

HI Viggoswife. I find if I eat a small breakfast that works best for me. I agree though that if I eat a massive breakfast then i can't stop eating...

I'm trying to lase the last 6lb of baby weight too - it is preventing me from wearing so much stuff! I would then like to go on and lose a bit more but I'm taking it slowly, DS is only 7 months old so I'm not in a panic... yet!
I am really pleased today, I managed not to eat loads of rubbish last night which means I had a good day, all day yesterday. Finally!
