WW v. SW choice - barely any WW classes

Have just been pondering which of these I am going to go for in my latest attempt to shift some weight - SW seem to have the usual number of local classes, but WW seem to have mostly gone away from physical classes towards online workshops, with just one physical class on the other side of a large town that would have had a dozen pre-pandemic.

After years of these companies telling us how much better their plans worked if you actually turn up and sty at classes, this seems an utter cop-out.

Is anyone doing WW virtually who can give a view on how it works, please?

For me they are a bit of a con. SW a little better as you learn to cook wiser but you can do this with a little googling.

I've tried WW online and SW in real life. I found I didn't bother with the online one very much but going to a group really works for me. I am slightly sad about what that says about my will power, and ability to shift weight all on my own but hey ho, it is what it is and I'm nearly 2 stone down going to a group.

Totally agree in theory it CAN be done all for free, however, I need the kick in the bum of the group. I think you need to be realistic about if you think you can do under your own steam or if you need other people to cheer you along a bit. If you can do it alone, WW online, or even just calorie counting, would probably work for you.
