Bobbinsbop · 31/07/2022 23:32

so sick of losing and gaining I need this to be the final time!!

MamaH2022 · 31/07/2022 23:37

I'm in! Gave up with SW and starting a calorie deficit. Weigh in will be every Monday for me 🙂 xxx

JimmiChoux · 01/08/2022 08:01

Morning, I have just weighed myself and I am 11st 4. This makes me pretty chubby for my height of 5'4.

I will be calorie counting.

Thank you for joining me.

My first goal is 10st 13 which will take me out of the 11st bracket.

Weight in this morning,
after 3 weeks of the gym, i still weigh 15st.
therefore, a strict calorie deficit for me alongside my regular gym sessions.

i’m taking measurements alongside weigh, but may only weight once a month or fortnightly, I havent decided yet.

JimmiChoux · 01/08/2022 08:05

Last night I scoffed all the chocolate, cake and biscuits in the house in preparation for today!

I can not be trusted with any sweet food in the house, I have no cut off point and zero willpower.

Made myself feel quite sick if I'm honest.

Im in! I'm starting one today. Weighing in at 10 stone 9 lbs, hoping to drop 7lbs in two weeks.

I'm going to follow the Anna Richardson body blitz diet ... an oldie but it always works for me. It's really easy to remember:
No sugar
No alcohol
No carbs after 6pm
No wheat or potatoes
No dairy except 300ml milk a day

It's tough but I can do anything for 14 days!

Hodgewell1 · 01/08/2022 08:50

I’m looking to start a health kick today. More exercise and better eating habits. Hopefully lose a bit of weight along the way.

Wobblywibblywoo · 01/08/2022 09:05

I’m in, although have a lot more to lose sadly, but I’ve decided this is the month I’m going to start

Jellycatrabbit · 01/08/2022 09:14

I'm in too!

I weighed in at 9st 10 today and have 4lb to lose - have lost a stone since April (still can't believe it!).

I will be calorie counting and trying to cut out the sleep deprived snacks and takeaway lunches.

Wobblywibblywoo · 02/08/2022 08:42

How did everyone get on yesterday? I felt I did well, I didn’t eat as much as I normally would so there’s a start, aiming for better today tho

fnargle · 02/08/2022 15:59

Hi @Wobblywibblywoo 👋

I got on well, thanks - sugar-free muesli, strawberries, a banana, skinny cappuccino, egg and ham on rye bread for lunch then bolognese for dinner on butternut squash "noodles". 1lb off on the scales today although I suspect that's mostly water weight.

Today I've had boiled egg and rye bread soldiers for breakfast, chicken salad for lunch and dinner will be more chicken - teriyaki with another salad. Not very good planning on my part to have chicken twice but it does fill me up!

I walked into town and back today pushing the buggy so have done some gentle exercise. I am EBF at the moment so giving myself an easy time on the exercise front and focusing on diet for now.

How is everyone else getting on?

Jellycatrabbit · 02/08/2022 19:19

Well I kept right off the snacks yesterday so was pretty pleased, and spent today in Minor injuries with the dc (nothing too serious) so no snackertunities there either.

@fnargle I'm also bf although baby is 8m and supposedly on solids (ha!) but I've been using it as an excuse to hit the cakes! I'm allowing myself 2000 calories and see how it goes - non bf tdee is about 1800.

christmas2022 · 03/08/2022 07:54

Me me me!

florianfortescue · 03/08/2022 08:51

Another 1lb off today, woohoo. Hope I can keep it off.

I've had porridge and a banana for breakfast. Need to have a think about lunch and dinner.

amarante · 03/08/2022 09:01

Can I also join in? Need to lose 3 to 4kilos - that is 6.6 to 8.8 pounds..... very difficult.
No breakfast yet. Only had 2 coffees with skimmed milk today.

Supersee · 03/08/2022 09:07

Me too ✋ Been hovering around 10.10/10.8 bracket for ages, that's two stone up due to lockdown so want to get back down to just under 9, I'm only 5'3. My downfall is consistency and wine which leads to takeaways.

I'll have a great week and then one rogue night out turns into me then saying fuck it for the next week before I feel disgusted and do it alll again. The alcohol needs to go at least until end of August when I'm away for the weekend.

Joined slimming world but going to combine that with not going over 1350 cals as that's what the TDEE calculator gave me. Trying to stick to two meals a day and walk more.

LastThursdayInJuly · 03/08/2022 09:29

Haha glad it isn’t just me who uses such logic as ‘it’s the 1st’ and ‘it’s a Monday.’

I’ve gained a lot of weight this year - determined to lose at least 2 stone by end of October.

Wobblywibblywoo · 03/08/2022 11:32

stumbled last night ended up with a Rice Krispies square and 4 Jaffa cakes.. so annoyed with myself!

for lunch I had 2 boiled eggs and toast
for dinner jacket potato and salad
and a Greek yogurt for afters

back on it today need to be stronger in the evenings

MamaH2022 · 03/08/2022 20:05

Started my calorie deficit and lost 2lb in 3 days! Chuffed! Couldn't hold my water until next weeks weigh in 🤣

How's everyone getting on?

MamaH2022 · 03/08/2022 20:05

We'll done 🙌🙌

Wobblywibblywoo · 04/08/2022 15:06

yesterday went well, I managed to stick to just meals, hoping for the same today! So far so good, yesterday was a cheese and ham toastie for lunch, and spagbol for dinner, feeling good that I’m managing to cut down the amount I used to eat

Jellycatrabbit · 08/08/2022 10:52

Well I've been 2lbs down in the week although this morning I forgot to weigh until after breakfast and was same weight as last week pre breakfast- so think I'm doing OK.

Anyone else still going?
