Anyone using Purition shakes/bars to lose weight?

Hello!
I've just bought a taster pack of purition shakes and bars, and wondered if anyone else was using for weight loss?

I'm 43, 218lb and about 5"6. So obese. I'd just like to get under 200lb to start with.

I have tried almost everything since becoming overweight at 19. Obviously at that point overweight was 11 or 12stone and over the years it's pushing 16.

I just dont want to have to think about it, I'm busy, aren't we all? (5kids, 2dogs, husband work) so my eating is quite disordered in the day, but I do cook so a balanced evening meal should be achievable.

I've had issues with slim and save upsetting my stomach so I'm hoping the lack of artificial sweetener will be OK this time.

Anyone else?

So they're edible. I had the chocolate and hazelnut one this morning, a bit bitter to start but I added the suggested banana which made it reasonably nice. I really liked the consistency.

I had the coconut bar for lunch and that was pretty nice too.

No aftertaste/sweetener thirst and no cramps/upset stomach...so far... fingers crossed.
