Anyone up for trying Noom?

I'm trying it out.
It's only £1 for the first 2 weeks.

Have put all my info in & it reckons I can loose 8lbs before my hols at the end of August & 3st by xmas.

Ok I'm slightly sceptical, but I think it will be worth a go.

I hate calorie counting & thinking about dieting. It says it tries to change the way you think about food and creates good habits.

Anyone else up for giving it a go with me? I'd love some company 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve done Noom. You do still have to count calories! Yes it’s quite interesting to think about why and how you eat. However the style is very American and I felt aimed at a younger audience in terms of its language and tone (I’m over 50) and so became annoying. I’m now using the Nutracheck app to monitor food and my Fitbit watch to monitor exercise. Nutracheck takes the data from Fitbit to get a calories in/out calculation every day.

Just told it what I had for breakfast and it told me the calories.

I'm ok with that.

It's the weighing stuff and trying to figure it out myself which I find tedious.

You need to weigh though to get the correct calories for your portion size?

Noom seems to suggest sizes like 1 cup / 1/2 a cup etc. Seems easier to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

@JasmineVioletRose How did you get on? I started beginning of December and love it. As you say, the measurements of food they offer give a best estimate which is fine by me. Lost half a stone before Christmas, put two back on whilst off track, and now back on the programme today.
