I'm really trying to make my weight loss as low-stress and creative as I can so it's more sustainable, so I'm building as much movement into my days as possible.
Some of that is formal 'exercise' but I'm also trying to up my calorie burning through NEAT (Non-exercise activity thermogenesis).
And I'm looking for ideas! I'm:
Walking at least 10,000 steps a day with the dog
Sweeping and mopping my non-carpet floors daily (instead of letting the Eufy do it)
Doing squats and heel raises while I wait for the kettle to boil
Walking on the spot / dancing about with ankle weights on while I watch TV
Taking things one by one up the stairs instead of piling them all into my arms in one go
What other tips or ideas do you have for burning extra calories each day without formal exercise?
