Is there such a thing as a perfect diet?

Thanks to covid I have completely lost smell and taste. In part, frustrating and annoying. However, I have a lot of weight to lose and now I'm no longer craving the bad stuff because I can't taste or smell it, this is an opportunity to start my eating habits again.
Is there such a thing as a perfect diet? Has anyone a recommendation of a diet plan I could use? I'm looking for something that will ensure I get all of the vitamins and nutrients I need, but as I can't taste anything it doesn't need to be exciting.

I signed up and use Cronometer. Set your macro’s (protein carb fat) requirements as per your age and enter your food. Very good visual as to vitamins and minerals etc.
not sure if other calorie counting apps so the same.
