From 9st to 11st 5”2 - is it possible to tone up?!

I’ve had two babies in lockdown since April 2020 and gone from a toned 9st to a wobbly 11st. Mostly due to binge-eating, loneliness and struggling with PND (which I am seeking help from GP). After my first baby, I ‘bounced back’, probably because I was too scared to go to the shops due to COVID and buy junk.

Since my second, my weight and binge-eating is out of control. It may be due to my PND, but I keep binge-eating telling myself ‘well my stomach/arms/legs are so flabby/covered in cellulite/ wobbly now, I’ll never have a nice figure back so there’s no point’ - please talk some sense into me and tel me it’s possible!

Does anyone who had a similar amount to lose have positive stories of getting into shape (not just losing the weight, but toning up and enjoying their figure) and if so, have any advice on where to start!

Thank you so much x

I went up to 10 stone 11 after my son and it was only after I had my daughter that I lost the weight. I hover around 9 stone now and I’m the same height as you so it can be done. I just ate less, smaller portion sizes and no snacking and if I was a bit hungry then I just drank some water until the next mealtime. I’m still a bit flabby around the middle but so long as I don’t eat too much chocolate then I’m ok. I’m not really toned to be fair as I don’t exercise much but I’m hoping to change that.

Thank you! That gives me hope that it’s possible to do! How long did it take you roughly to lose it again? X

I’m sorry I’m not sure. It didn’t take long to start seeing a difference in how my body looked though which was good motivation to keep going
