I drink far too much coffee but im trying to loose weight. Since regular milk is full of sugar im wondering would lactose free be a better option for me?

No. It still has the same profile and number of calories.

Lactose free milk has the same amount of sugar as normal milk, but it's had the enzyme lactase added to break the lactose down into glucose and galactose so that people who don't make enough lactase in their own digestive system can absorb it. If you want to reduce your calorie intake from milk, it would be better to choose a lower fat milk or learn to like your coffee with less milk.

Ah I see. Makes sense now. I'll just stick to my normal milk, just less off it. Thanks so much
