… because straight forward calorie counting has stopped working. Since turning 40 I’ve gained if I have over 1200 a day. My metabolism must be through the floor. Until this year I’ve been able to lose if I ate 1000 a day. Not any more. I’ve been 11st for 4 months. I’m doing 10,000 to 15,000 steps a day, and (being completely honest) don’t have time for more exercise. I’ve tried cutting out bread/ pasta/ alcohol but no luck. I’ve tried 16:8 for a week (which was as long as my willpower lasted on zero results!) Any suggestions as to how to lose weight?
I don’t want to cut calories much more (and yes, I weigh everything!)
