I want to lose half a stone by the end of June

And two more stone after that but half a stone would be a really good starting point.

Would anyone like to join me? I really feel I need help with this. I lost two and a half stone last year and unfortunately have gained a stone and a half back, really annoyed with myself.

Planning on weighing on Thursdays since the last day of June is a Thursday.

Yes please! Got a friend's big birthday end of this month. I'd already started on and off since the start of the year as getting married in September but got on it properly this month and half a stone by end of June would really get me on track!

I’m starting today - well, I sort of started yesterday but it did go a bit awry as went for coffee with a friend and she bought a hot chocolate and cake for us when I was in the toilet! Not too bad apart from that though. I might try to go to the gym today, depends if I have time.

I'm going to try to either do a class or swim or both mon-fri.
Plus dog walks.
Low carb.
No alcohol or breakfast mon-fri.
A little at the weekend.

I’ll join too. I didn’t have a huge amount to lose but lost 1.2 stone over the past 3 months through combining -

  1. Time restricted eating +
  2. low carb +
  3. portion control
all at the same time. It was actually remarkably easier than either of those things in isolation.

have stalled for 3 weeks owing to a long overdue parent visit from halfway across world plus annual leave for half term plus lots of cooking for friends over.

back on wagon tomorrow to lose half stone by end of month by doing exactly as I did in the last 3 months.

Can I join please? I need to lose one stone in total, I knew clothes were getting v tight but I got a shock when I weighed myself earlier 😬. I'm feeling pretty rubbish about it.

I've started a new job which has a huge eating/treats culture and also had to stop exercise for a month due to injury.

I'm going to try intermittent fasting 16:8, cut back on treats, biscuits, cake and bread and just generally up the veggies and water.

Back to exercise this week 🤞hoping injury doesn't raise its head again.

I'm going to weigh again on Wed, I can't wait a whole week.

I’d like join. I need to lose half a stone also but I have until the end of July (birthday party). I’ve just bought a jumpsuit and it isn’t very forgiving around the stomach area!

I need to lose at least half a stone to fit into some of my summer clothes. I thought I would've done it by now.

I used to do intermittent fasting and was a healthy weight. I'm trying but find it very difficult not to eat when I wake up as my blood sugar dips and I have ADHD and crave the sugar to get me moving.

I have a school summer holiday planner and I've just looked at last year's for ideas for what to do this year, and noticed that I'm exactly the same weight now I was at the start of the holiday last year.

So I'm determined to lose what I can between now and July 18th as an initial target.

Overall I have 3 stone to lose, but only seem to lose an regain the same half stone.

I'm going to be doing a mix of...


  • calorie counting, tracking with nutracheck

  • making sure I exercise at least twice a week at a zumba class, as well as using my home equipment (cycle and rowing machine)

  • intermittent fasting in having the large window of not eating between dinner one evening and then lunch the next day (no breakfast)

  • not snacking

  • basing meals on salad/veg and lean meat and low carbs

I'd like to join too! I have around that to lose and I'm finding that I lose a few lbs, and then put them back on again at the weekend.

But I've cut out alcohol now, and I'm getting back on the healthy eating wagon tomorrow.

im using nutri check to keep an eye on calories and started sirt food juice today.
currently unwell so not exercising.

I do the 16:8 fasting around 4 days a week and exercise 3-4 times a week, my problem is food. Lots of it! Sigh!

Similar position here - would ideally like to lose 2 stone by September. I managed it pre-babies and even returned to the same goal weight after having them... But now I've got toddlers I seem to hoover up all the leftover food, and crave sugar to get me through the day... And like a previous poster, had a nasty shock when I got on the scales after a few months of complacency!

It's so tough isn't it. I'm using the myfitnesspal app and trying to stick to 1200 calories. I've actually been trying to do that for the last few weeks, but can't seem to stick at it this time. I now have 12 weeks until my holiday, so it is time to crack down!

Weight this morning 11st 6lb.

Half a stone would take me in to the 10's. I'd very much like that xx

I’d like to join. I have a fancy wedding to attend in early July and would like to lose a few pounds by then. Will weigh in this morning. I’ve lost half a stone before by fasting from dinner (around 8pm) through to lunch the next day at 1pm, abs calorie counting to make sure the two meals I do have aren’t over the daily recommendation.

11 stone 6 here too. Doing combination of time restricted eating also (no breakfast) and no processed foods, plus upping my exercise.
