Hi,
I've joined Slimming World at various times and successfully lost weight, but gradually it creeps back on again. I'm reluctant to keep paying out, so l want to try to do it with like minded individuals on MN.

On a weekly basis let's choose a day that suits us and then log our weigh on here.
If you put on, maintain or lose weight don't worry, there's no point in kidding ourselves about it, just say how you did.

So, let's start off by stating your current weight, target weight and day of the week you'll be weighing in. Let's set our end date as 31st August 2022, then when we get to that date we can extend it further.

Here goes:

Current weight: 11st 1lb
Target weight: 10st
Weigh in day: Saturday mornings

That's great! So pleased you're joining.

I really think having the pressure of doing this as a little team will really help give me the push to keep on track.
I fully expect to have the odd gain/maintain but I'm going to really try.

I think I'm going to try and eat as if I was on the Slimming world diet -

Eat as much 'free food' as I like, this includes:
*Beans
*Dry packed pasta (might make a batch in the fridge)
*Potatoes (mashed, jacket...)
*Fruit
*2 Slices of bread per day
*15g of cheese per day.......

I'll add more to this as I remember more. But Slimming World also allows you to have a small treat a day (up to 15 syns but obviously we aren't working on syns so I'll just keep it small).

Can I join? My weigh in day is Saturday morning as well.

Current weight: 12st 11.4 (down from 14st 3)
Target weight: 9st 7

I am just doing calorie counting atm. I've never tried slimming world, I do have a tendency to binge and would worry I would binge on the free foods!
