Why am I lighter on a salter scale?

I've been doing keto for past 3-4 weeks and on my digital scales it looks like I've gained 2lbs and lost it again, what makes me wonder if they are faulty is that I've been exactly the same weight to the point of a pound every day for all the time since loosing the 2lbs. Surely this isn't right, surely there's natural fluctuations?
Anyway I've tried the salter style scales today and I'm down 7lbs. Don't know what to believe, I do feel slimmer if I'm honest but maybe just placebo??
Anyone shed any light?
I like the salter scales 😁😁

Either set might be faulty or wrongly calibrated. You could try changing the battery in the digital ones. Is there any way you can weigh yourself on a third set to check?

I've got a set of digital Salter scales and they've always been wonky - you stand on them once and take a reading, then if you get back on to double check it's always 2-3lbs less, no idea which one is the accurate measurement.

Also check both sets are properly flat on your floor.

The salter scales I mean are the old fashioned ones with the pin that goes round.
So these are brand new.
My digi ones are about 2 years old now.
My digi ones are the same I stand on once and its high, get off go on again and it's lower!
