Where in your BMI weight range do you look best

At the moment I'm 67kg and I'm 175cm. I started off trying to loose weight at the top of the BMI range ( I'm sure it said I was overweight at 75.5kg? ) But my goal is middle of the range at 65kg.

I still have a big tummy, which I didn't have pre 2 DC. Maybe it's just 2 kg of tummy? Just wondering where I should aim for? I can't imagine being 56kg at this height. It's a massive weight range of 20kg. I didn't really use to weigh myself previously, just went on my size 12 clothes ( 14 in Primark Jeans ) , but sizes seem so varied now it's hard to do that.

I think it probably depends on your bone structure and amount of muscle. I have a small bone structure and not much muscle at the moment so look best right at the bottom of my bmi.

At 5'5" I look best at around 50kg bmi of 18. I am currently 60kg and feel very flabby at a bmi of 22.4. I am now working to increase my muscle and not worrying too much about my weight.

Bmi 20 is about right for me. If I'm doing lots of pilates then 21-22 works too as it tones and flattens my tummy. That's where I carry my weight so conscious of that as a risk factor.

Small frame and 5ft7.

I'm 177 cm, when I was undiagnosed hypothyroid I reached 76 kg and I was definitely way too big in the tummy region. I am naturally slim build and although my legs and arms remained as sticks, the middle part did not! I lost weight after going on thyroid meds and then developed histamine intolerance and my weight dropped right down to 55 kg. That was way too light and put my BMI around 18. I didn't look good at all, although I had a flat tummy at last! I've now gone back to around 65 kg and to my mind it's too much as my tummy is too big again. If only the weight went on evenly it would be fine! So my ideal is around 58-59 kg and that puts my BMI at the bottom end of the normal range.

It definitely depends how you carry your weight. I'm 5"8" and currently 10stone 8 with a bmi of 22. I quite like how I look atm but would ideally like to lose another half stone - however I have to be very careful as I'm pear-shaped and lose it all from up top - my boobs have shrunk a lot and my face, if I lose much more, could start to look a bit ropey.

Friends and family have now started with the "don't lose any more weight" comments! I only ever say that to close friends when I'm genuinely worried about them so I'm taking notice and trying not to be obsessive about losing much more but focussing on maintaining my healthy habits/exercise because it makes me feel good.
