Hello everyone, can I join?
I'm starting week 4 today, up until now I've increased the dose each week but I'm going to stick at 1.8 as it seems to be working and I'm self funding so the longer I can make it last the better! I kind of wish I'd started slower and I had no idea about the clicks thing! I will consider decreasing the dose again at some point but will stick to 1.8 for now.
I have about 8st to lose. In my first week I lost just under 5lbs which was amazing, and 2lbs in my second week. This mornings weigh was rather disappointing with only 0.6lb off!!! I'd been to the gym twice and done loads of walking too.
I have let myself have one or two small treats when out with friends, but they actually feel like treats now which is nice. I used to go to the shop every evening and buy chocolate and cake and just stuff my face, and I haven't done that since I started! I also used to get a bacon roll every morning on my way into work and that has stopped too! And I've not really missed those things. So it's definitely working. I do wonder if there's an element of the placebo effect, as I'm so worried about getting ill on it that I'm making sure I don't eat too much bad stuff 😬.
I've been lucky in that I haven't had any side effects, apart from the day I increased to 1.8 I felt a bit nauseous and dizzy. I take the dose in the evening so I felt the side effects the following day. Maybe that's why I don't notice any side effects, because I take it late? I jab in my stomach, thigh, or upper arm, I try to change it around each day :)
I'm sorry that was a bit of an essay about myself! 😂 I'm also keeping this private so it's nice to be able to discuss it with other people 😊
