As per the title really, I would love to know your experiences? I am 5’6” and have a range of events coming up in July that I would feel happier if I weighed less for.

I’m going to be sensible and count calories or do WW; I’m not going to do a VLCD or anything like that.

I have a gym membership that isn’t as used as it should be. 🫢

I would love some inspiration please! Thank you 😊

I’m also 5”6, before my wedding I did the BBG by Kayla Itsines- I cut out sugar, stopped smoking l and followed the exercise programme. It’s Fing hard- I think the hardest thing I’ve ever done!! It’s not for the faint hearted- my first workout I was sick & heart rate of 185BPM. But transformed me and my lifestyle to be honest. Even a few years later I no longer do the program but my body is still way way better and more ‘in tune’ than pre BBG. I wasn’t mega unfit before I did it but its an epic programme and I was in the shape of my life after. Size 12 to a size 6/8 in 12 weeks and felt a-mazing. I still hamper after that feeling now years later!!! X

Wow that’s very good indeed!

yes I think I will really have to commit to something wholeheartedly to get serious results in… seven weeks!

My starting weight was a bit less than yours and I've lost 10lbs in 3 weeks if that helps! I stuck to 3 meals a day, no snacks, and reduced portion (like one slice of toast instead of two with dippy eggs). Now the initial weight is gone I'm hoping for 1-2lbs for the remainder!

Google tells me that's 12.5 stones?

I reckon you could easy knock off a stone and half in that time.

It's only 20lbs.

I'd go low carb. No alcohol, loads of water.

@sjxoxo is that on YouTube or do you buy dvds?

Thanks all!

Frustratingly I barely drink these days - we don’t go out much as we’re trying to save up.

I say frustratingly as when my friends decided to stop drinking for a diet, the pounds fall off them! No such luck here 😁

6kg would be a slightly ambitious but do-able (and sensible) target, I reckon. Good luck.
