Exercise - virtual reality style!

I really hate exercising but I know that for the good of my health, I need to build some in. I'm considering buying a VR headset (occulus) and getting some VR exercise games/apps to get me moving. Has anyone else tried this? Is it worth the investment?

I bought an Oculus month ago with similar reasoning and yes, I really enjoy cutting boxes with my lightsabers and it definitely counts as an exercise.
The novelty is slowly wearing off, but I'm still managing about twice a week.

Several observations:
It needs quite a lot of clear space.
It feels quite isolating when one member of household is in VR.
Basic music pack in Beat saber is useless, weird electro, not really a music, so I had to pay for extra music pack to make it enjoyable.

It's hard to understand which apps are good, some are popular, but not really nice usable. Many paid apps have quite short content.
