Hi all, this looks like a good place to pick some brains...
Having unsuccessfully tried to lose weight regained over 6 years (lost 12 stone with Cambridge in 2016, 8 stone crept back on) I have thrown myself at the mercy of my local GP surgery in the hope they can assist me in a more permanent solution.
I've received a message saying that I will be referred to the weight management/bariatric service and they require me to take some blood tests.
Does this mean that they are considering referring me for bariatric surgery (not sure if I want to take that route, am early 50s) or if the "bariatric" just an overarching term?
Please help an old, confused fat bird!
