I've got 4st to lose, does anyone want to join me?

I'm going to do a mixture of 16:8, low carb, exante, food logging and exercise.

I'm going to do a week of exante milkshakes, starting tomorrow, with a small salad - as I bought loads on Friday.

I'm up to week 5 of c25k and I'm doing 10k steps per day, as well as a weights bootcamp class x3 pw, body pump, boxercise and swimming.

is exact any good?

i'm on saxenda injections and losing lots

C25kBecky · 17/04/2022 18:26

It is if you stick to it properly. I've done it before, but the trick is not to break your run because once you have a day off or add a couple of extras in, it's really hard to get back on the wagon.

I wouldn't have the salad because it makes it harder but I'm not throwing it away.

I have the weight to lose but no real plan yet. Can I join you, please?

Cakesnbiscuit · 17/04/2022 18:45

I have around 2 stone to loose but would love to loose 1 stone. Please can I join? I need some motivation!

C25kBecky · 17/04/2022 20:33

The more the merrier.

I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow morning and take a pic for comparison.

So this morning I'm 13st 11lbs / 193.9lbs. My scales are in lbs.

I've done a weights class already this morning and about to start my steps when I finish my tea. I'm going to keep milk in my tea as I have less than a teaspoon.

I've been through the exante products I've got and I've got 4 days of shakes and then the rest are the products. I'm going to try to do 4 days of shakes and a salad to kick-start the weight loss.

I've taken a photo but I don't think I'm going to post it.

How's everyone else doing? What are your plans/aims for this week?

How do u get Saxenda injections

PansyPetunia · 18/04/2022 09:51

For saxenda it's either on nhs through weight management programme ( hard to get) or by private prescription from a pharmacy. Boots,Asda etc. apply online

I'm due to go up a dose but I'm doing fine on a smaller dose so will stick with that for this week

I'm working today so my steps will be around 13-14 thousand. So that's all I need to do. But if heavy lifting with stock etc

Calorie counted meals

C25kBecky · 18/04/2022 10:04

What is Saxenda? Is it that thing that replicates hcg?

Please could I join Smile
I've got 1.5 stone to lose and have lost 9lbs in the last 6 weeks but losing motivation a bit now.

My plan food wise is Exante products for 2 weeks to kick start. So shake/soup lunch for break fast then a low carb high lean protein meal and snack to make up the rest. Sticking to 1400 calories a day and 110g protein a day. I will cut all sugar in my drinks and allow myself a square of dark choc if the cravings get too much Blush

Exercise I'm a member of Les Mills on demand so am following one of their 6 week challenges which is a mixture of BP, spinning, BC and BB
And daily 10K steps min.

Oh I'm in weighed 14.07 this am. I was 15st in January. I've started wholeheartedly today Grin a mixture of calorie counting low carb 16:8 trying to up my steps and rebounding (small trampoline). ideally need to loose at about 4st. but I've no definite end goal, just 7lb a time and see how I get on.

Tailrunner · 19/04/2022 10:46

Can I join you? I'm at my heaviest ever and really need to get a grip! I weighed in at 14st 6.2lb yesterday and started food logging and did some trampolining with the DC. Weighed in at 14st 4 this morning which is a great start but I often have a couple of good weeks then as soon as it slows a bit I fall off the wagon and put it all back on (with extra). The challenge is going to be sticking with anything.

I've decided to give myself a 40 day challenge - longer than I usually stick to anything but feels a manageable time. I'm doing no choc, crisps or fizzy drinks plus at least 30 active minutes a day, 2l of water a day, running 3x a week and 1 pilates session a week. Hopefully I can get some good habits in place and lose some weight.

👋

I've had a bad headache this morning so I haven't done anything yet.

Starting to feel a bit better so will get dressed in a minute and start some steps 💪

Hunger hasn't been an issue yet but from memory, I think day 4 is the worst.

I need new leggings but I want some with pockets so will have a browse today too. I want ones in material that dog hair won't stick to, too, so I should go to the actual shops but I dunno when I can go.

How's everyone feeling?
