Can any of you recommend any online exercise classes for a 40 something very overweight me with limited time that are fun?

Shabam dance style class on Les Mills maybe but you would need to pay a subscription fee. Failing that what about dancing around to your favourite tunes to start with?

Go outside and go for a walk.... Any movement is a start.

I have enjoyed mkfit classes on youtube - they are interval training (but don't let the name put you off, you can do them at as gentle a level as you like and she shows variations for any harder moves) set to music from various Broadway shows, films, old school pop hits etc.

Get Fit With Rick on Youtube. Very easy to follow, based on doing X number of steps (he has longer and shorter videos) but much much less boring than other walking workout videos, and he uses great music. I put one on occasionally if I'm taking a break from work and have sat down for too long.

I've been using the FitOn app which I'm enjoying. It is free and has all sorts of workouts ranging from yoga to HIT, dance etc I think it's pretty good! I was using apple fitness but that was £10 a month so I'm preferring this. You can sort in order of length so if you only have 15 mins you can easily find something short. Good luck!

Thank you all Smile

Les Mills. £11 a month and thousands of classes to choose from, including pump, combat, body balance, shabam (dance), spin if you have a bike, core - I love it!

@Harrysmummy246

I exercise at home because I live 20 miles away from the nearest gym and have small people to care for on my own for 100% of my waking hours that aren't spent at work.

Its perfectly OK for OP to ask about online classes.

My recommendation OP is to start with yoga and read Andrew Jenkinson's book about food.

Sorry - that should have been Yoga with Adrienne on Youtube

If you are overweight you should start with something low impact. build your strength, stamina and flexibility and work on improving your diet.

Lucy Wyndham has lots of 7 minute exercise videos that are really good.

And 7 minutes isn’t too onerous. You can do more than one if you wish.
