I'm just about to embark on the Food Doctor Diet and wanted to know if it has worked for anyone or am I wasting my time! Failing that I shall try Slimming World as I have a whopping 3 stone to lose!

no idea about this diet, but will be looking at this thread...
what is the theory behind it?

Sorry, 3, I didn't get back to you but the children wouldn't go to sleep. From what I can gather it's a eat less but more often diet so your glucose levels don't dip too much and you don't get that usual diet starvation feeling. Lots of fruit and veg (of course) and no carbs after 7pm. The emphasis is on natural home-cooked foods which are higher in nutrients and vitamins. As the children are back at school now I feel I can concentrate on these things a little more.

I know what you mean. I'll give it a couple of weeks though. Can't help feeling that as it's on Richard and Judy that it might be a load of rubbish.
