MFP exercise

I'm doing SW but experimenting with MFP.... if you've done exercise and log it your calorie allowance goes up.... do you use the extra calories or are you not supposed to?

I loved SW pre pregnancy but I've got an almost 4 month who I'm EBF and just feel like SW isn't the healthiest so just trying to see what works. Ive got 10-14lb to loose

I personally don’t log my exercise on MFP because I don’t want to increase my allowance. I see the exercise as a bonus, so I still stick to my 1200 cals. Also, there’s no real way of knowing how accurate the exercise calories are, as from what I understand it very much depends on your body, metabolism etc. And I’ve heard some fitness trackers can over-estimate by as much as 50%

I’d say be gentle with yourself though, 4 month old baby, and BF’ing there’s no rush, and you’ll need the extra calories for that.
