I’m currently trying to loose a stone or 2 after 2 years with my partner lock down etc I was just eating what ever I wanted and not realising the calories. So far I’ve lost 3 pounds although I’m now due on so back up but I always gain 3 pounds when on and it’s drops off straight after. I’ve now started to realise I wasn’t hungry half the time and had a real sugar addiction. Have even managed to eat out and stay on track. Will be off to the gym this afternoon to hopefully burn some Calories off too.

Yes please! Id love to lose 2 stone, or close to it. Ive done it before through tracking with myfitnesspal, but this time ive had this awful all or nothing mentality where if i go over my calories i just binge!
Going to try and do it this time just with portion control, almost no booze, lots of veg and protein.
11stone 5.8 pounds today Shock
Hope you have a good workout, im in gym right now and definitely glad i came. Its getting there thats half the battle x

Me! I weighed 11st13lbs yesterday when I started and at the start of lockdown I was about 10st5lbs because I was breastfeeding. I'm starting off with a week of Slim Fast to wean myself off crisps and milky lattes, and now I'm tracking calories I'm actually a bit horrified, as I must have been consuming at least 500 calories more than I use for literally 2 years.

I won't get down to 10st again at age 37 - I only just managed that when I got married at 25 - but 11st would be great for summer.

Me! I'm trying to lose a stone. DD was born in December and I'd like to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 54kg. Currently 60kg. I'm breastfeeding which helps but I have weddings and holidays in the summer and feeling motivated to get back into my usual clothes.

Me 😩
I've just weighed and I've put 2 stone on in 18 months
My age , lockdown sedentary lifestyle , medication , my poor health and very bad eating habits have all contributed

I would be happy with just a stone
So will concentrate on moving more and better food choices

I braved the scales this morning for the first time in a LONG time. Had to clean them off and put new batteries in. I'm 16lbs up on pre-pandemic so that's my target.

Working from home, even now sometimes I might not leave the house for days so I'm thinking to start with two prong attack:

  1. Cancel cheese o'clock
  1. Leave the house every day and get walking more.

Explains why my jeans aren't fitting.

S392 · 13/03/2022 14:26

I'm a stone or so up. Could do with it shifting....

BulletTrain · 13/03/2022 16:28

I must admit I'm mainly motivated by my wardrobe/summer approaching. I'd rather eat boring healthy food than replace literally a dozen pairs of jeans/summer trousers/dresses.

Same here. Mine is full of designer jeans

So far OK. Cheese and snacking has gone, replaced by two good meals (mid morning and evening) plus leaving the house everyday.

Also added regular weigh ins. Might look at MFP or Noom again but Im already tracking money in YNAB so not convinced I'm ready to add more tracking tasks right now.

BulletTrain · 16/03/2022 12:08

Well done! It's not the easiest. I'm tracking on my FitBit watch and I'm sure it would start to affect me mentally if I tracked for too long.

Day 5 on Slimfast (snacking on fruit) and I'm down 3lb. It's really motivating - but the cravings for crisps and cheese haven't gone yet!

ChubbyPenguin · 16/03/2022 19:37

Was 1.8 pounds down this morning to 11.4, today has been tough as was on a work outing so less control over what i could have. Managed to be fairly sensible and will just be happy if scales dont go up overnight! Weighing every day but expecting some fluctuations, so long as its mainly losses or maintaining ill get there in the end!
Feels odd not tracking calories but i want to do this without that as its more sustainable long term. Good luck everyone x

stormynight1 · 17/03/2022 19:08

Well done everyone Iva had a terrible period thanks endometriosis have hardly eaten as I’ve been so sick but very bloated and usually gain 4 pounds while on and then loose it all when it’s over so I hope that’s the case this time

Are we all still going? Day 8 for me and down 3 pouds to 11stone 2.8pounds. Unfortunately i have covid so cant go to gym or out walking - but still have my appetite haha!
Trying to keep up with portion control and lots of veg, although a burger king may have slipped in over the weekend, oops..
