am in a quandry. prefer the points idea of weightwatchers, but the slimming world meetings are easier for me to attend. which, in your opinion, is most effective?

reckon i'll be attending for at least 6 months

Hi, I have been to both weight watchers and slimming world, years ago I admit.

I found weight watchers a lot easier to follow, I used the points system which was great.

Hope this helps

ww you can eat what you want and point it,

where as sw you have red days and green days and can only eat certain things on these days

I personally found SW far easier and much more effective, am never hungry on SW and they have made the plan easier to follow, there are loads more "free" foods on SW iirc.

I'm currently doing SW. It's about twice the price of WW and you can only miss 6 sessions in a year before they make you rejoin - another tenner!

It is good though, if you like to eat. Although my weight has been up and down since I started and I'm not really any better off than I was 3 months (and £70) ago!
