cant get my head around a diet - too much booze/chocolate in house. Will need to consume it all quickly so I can concentrate on a diet.
I think I have put on at least half a stone and cant get my favourinte jeans over my arse right now.

hercules1 · 01/01/2008 09:28

and made an appointment to start slimming world. I dont have much to lose but need a lifestyle change!

needmorecoffee · 01/01/2008 09:31

2 slices wholemeal bread with a mashed banana. Follwoing SW plan(green days)
Feeling glum about it all already. Probably got 20 pounds to lose.
Having done SW before I know I can do it in 3 months or less but not feeling very inspired today

Furball · 01/01/2008 09:46

meal plan every meal/snack etc and shop accordingly so that you know what you are going to the kitchen for. Worst thing is to be slightly hungry and rifle through the cupboards stumbling on things like the kids choccy biccys. much better to think you'll have some chopped carrot and cucumber which you know you have.

needmorecoffee · 01/01/2008 09:51

whats a good snack that isn't carrots and cucumber?

Furball · 01/01/2008 09:54

oatcakes
any fruit or veg (excluding potatoes)
fat free yoghurt
sugar free jelly

that sort of thing. - it should only be a small snack just to keep you going til lunch

needmorecoffee · 01/01/2008 09:57

potatoes are free food on the slimming world plan. But do get dull after a while.
I find lunch tricky. Quite often make soups.

I snack on salads, fruit, veg, berries, fat free plain yougurts with added fresh berries, rice cakes, bread sticks. you can tell I'm a snacky type.

needmorecoffee · 01/01/2008 16:03

rice cakes and breadsticks ok?
Today I've had wholemeal toast with banana, 4 satsumas and an apple. Brown rice and veggie stirfry for lunch and about 5 glasses water.
Its 4pm and I'm hungry
Off to Slimming world tomorra

fedda · 01/01/2008 16:17

Ricw cakes are made with brown rice and no salt I consider okay, breadsticks in small amounts should be okay as well (I hope)

needmorecoffee · 02/01/2008 17:23

went toa funeral today and accidently ate a cake. ho hum. Slimming World in an hour so I can find out how much I weight cos I don't know.
I'm 5 foot and 9 or 10 incjes and reckon I'd aim for 10 and a half stone. Sound about right?

fedda · 02/01/2008 19:29

When people face funerals suddenly all this slimming becomes meaningless so I wouldn't be upset with myself if I had a cake on this occasion.
