Diet and exercise programme/app recommendations

Yesterday, I saw a photo of myself and almost had a heart attack. I've had two babies in two years and I love food, so you can imagine. I've also had some blood test results this week that show I'm bordering on pre-diabetic, so it's really time to take action.

I'm looking for recommendations for a structured diet and exercise plan I can follow. Previously I've done Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred with good results. I tried her app though and found it very glitchy. I like the recipes and short HIIT workouts that Joe Wicks offers, although I'm put off by the negative feedback on things like portion sizes. I can be quite greedy so would like to train myself not to eat huge portions, to be honest!

Could you tell me what's worked for you, along the same lines? An app would be good with personalised recipes (if it has a shopping list function, even better!). Short-ish workouts are important too, as I have to fit them around two small children.

I've really got no idea what's out there other than the two trainers I've mentioned, so I'd really appreciate your recommendations. Thank you.

I should perhaps have added that I'm happy to pay. In fact, a paid programme is more likely to be successful as I'd feel more invested in it, i think!

I love Jillian - sometimes the programs won’t load but it’s usually fine. Stuck with it, there is so much on there !

I have lost weight and changed my shape (after having a baby) pretty much effortlessly with intermittent fasting and following Caroline Girvan workout programs.

Unfortunately there's no app for all three aspects of nutrition, exercise and fasting but I use MyFitnessPal to track my calories and macros, use YouTube for Caroline's workouts and just keep track of my hours fasted myself. You could use Fastic or another app for that, though. I just don't bother.

Thank you @ladybranstonpickle. I've just watched Caroline Girvan's Q&A YouTube video and I love her already! I have a MyFitnessPal account too so maybe I'll start with that. And yes @boardbored, I love Jillian too. "I want you FLOATING OFF THE GROUND, 'cos you STRONG!"
