Pikaso · 23/01/2022 13:23

Looking for quick and easy high protein lunches. No cooking involved.

Any ideas?

I’m thinking egg mayo sandwiches
Tuna Mayo sandwiches
Mackerel on toast

Anything else?

Sandwiches and toast are high carb. I'd be ditching them. I have a side of toast with most meals but it is carb and calorie heavy.

I would just have meat (chicken) and veg.

Cottage cheese on ryvita. With sliced avocado/chopped tomato.

BennysBingoBonanza · 23/01/2022 13:32

Salad with chicken or salmon (pre-cooked)
Hummus and veg

I usually have salmon, tuna, beef or boiled eggs, with some veg and salad. Don't waste calories on bread and butter and mayonnaise. Save that for chocolate Grin

Full fat cottage cheese and an avocado.

Egg wraps filled with salmon, cream cheese and rocket. In fact egg wraps are really versatile as a wrap/bread substitute.
Tuna and mayo cups, essentially tuna and mayo in a little gem leaf with some cherry tomatoes on the side
Mackerel pate with celery sticks

I would have wholemeal pasta salads (no dressing). Use tinned beans or chickpeas. Or tuna. with grated carrot, Grated carrot is brilliant for bulking out a salad. Add sliced onion, cucumber, sliced gherkins. Salt and pepper or snipped chives and herbs. Actually this is my go to lunch. and its yum

FilledSoda · 23/01/2022 13:57

All those fillings you're putting on bread need to go on salad instead .

Fried halloumi salad
Mozzarella, tomato and basil/pesto
Cheese and crackers
Ham sandwiches
Eggs of any description
Chicken salad
Greek yoghurt and fruit and granola
