How are you going to cope with Christmas?

I have lost 60lbs, 56 with NYP and 4 the week before I started. I have been 100% on plan for the first time ever.
I have planned to be 'off plan' Christmas Eve evening, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
I have bought far less in this year although still having treats that DH and DS1 like, that brought home the reality that in previous years, I have bought a lot that really I just ended up eating.
I am looking forward to a few treats (individual Xmas pudding) but also looking forward to getting back on with my journey afterwards. Only 50lbs more to go!
How are you planning to cope?

I think the key for me is to have what I fancy but not to go too wild.

So for example today I will need my normal diet until tonight when we are having rolls, mince pies etc (I don't usually eat carbs) then tomorrow I will have Xmas dinner and enjoy it but won't eat for the sake of eating and just because I'm 'off plan'

Btw well done on your 60lb loss!

I agree. I have treated myself to some lovely pate an am going to have that on crackers for lunch today.
I weighed this morning and lost another pound.

well done, what's NYP. I'm relaxing until the 27th.

I've had Covid this week so my appetite has shrunk wonderfully, which is a bonus.
My usual strategy is not to buy too much extra and limit my indulgence to Christmas day at the in-laws. I don't actually like that much of Christmas food. Mince pies and christmas pud..yuk! My downfall is the cheese.

@pluggee it is The New You Plan. We have a thread on here. It has genuinely changed how I think about food.
I am succeeding so far today in having the nice treats but small amounts. Just had a slice of olive bread with some cheese on it.
