I have been recommended the Chemical Breakdown diet by a friend and thought I would give it a go but I wondered if any one had any thoughts on how it works?
If it has worked for them and how dangerous it is?
I have started it this morning and after toast peanut butter and half a grapefruit this morning I am thinking that I am bored of this diet already .
This is what I was given:-
"FIRST DAY
Breakfast:
Black Coffee or Tea
1/2 Grapefruit
1 slice toast
2 tbs. peanut butter
Lunch:
1/2 cup of tuna (no mayo)
1 slice toast
Cofee or Tea
Dinner:
2 slices of any meat
1 cup of string beans
1 cup of beets
1 apple
1 cup of vanilla ice cream
-------
SECOND DAY
Breakfast:
1 egg
1/2 banana
1 slice of toast
Black Coffee or Tea
Lunch:
1 cup cottage cheese
5 saltines
Dinner:
2 hotdogs
1 cup broccoli
1/2 cup of carrots
1/2 banana (the other half from breakfast)
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
----------
THIRD DAY
Breakfast:
5 saltines
1 slice cheddar cheese
1 apple
Black Coffee or Tea
Lunch:
1 hard boiled egg
1 slice toast
Dinner:
1 cup of tuna
1 cup beets
1 cup cauliflower
1/2 cantaloupe

In 3 days you will loose between 3 and 8lbs. (most do) After 3 days of dieting you can eat normal food, but don't overdo it. After 4 days of normal eating start back on your 3 day diet. You can loose up to 30 lbs in 40 days - if you stick with it. Worked for alot of people I know GOOD LUCK!!! "
It looks so scary but if it works then I could loose 8lb by the weekend and that seems unbelievable! too good to be true perhaps?!
