GASTRIC SLEEVE...🤔

Hi all,

So I just wondered if anybody here has any experience having had the gastric sleeve done?
I am 24 but have been overweight for as long as I can remember, having battled with various diets so no avail and I hugely struggle with willpower when dieting.

I have been TTC for over a year now with no joy, just two back to back chemical losses and am also bitterly unhappy with the way I look, and how I feel in myself. I am constantly exhausted, feel nauseous and can barely keep my eyes open. I am out of breath climbing the stairs.. my stamina has just disappeared and I'm struggling how I am at the moment. I don't want to self sabotage any more.

So, I looked into bariatric surgery a while back, and I've just come out of my 2nd consultation this evening for gastric sleeve surgery. All being well, I will be able to have it done early next year!!!

I just wanted to hear from anybody that has had it done / in the same boat as me?

🥰

I’m planning on surgery in the new year. I have my consultation on December the 7th.
Facebook has some groups which are good. Younger people like yourself seem to do really well, less loose skin and they achieve lower weights. There are down sides, reflux and complications from surgery. It seems to me the benefits out weight the negatives. The main downside to me is others judgment. I’m already judged for being fat, thin people don’t get it. I’m planning to not tell anyone but my partner. It seems not being starving all the time allows you to make better choices and if you do ‘cheat’ you’ll soon know about it.
