Seem to have lost my "stop" button

Ah! I seem to be on some sort of self destruct mission at the moment. In September, I returned to the office which messed up the exercise routine I'd diligently been following for the previous 12 months and, whilst I could do other things, I am most definitely not. And now my eating seems to have completely gone up the spout too and I don't seem to go more than about 20 minutes (literally) without something in my mouth. It doesn't matter what it is ... cup of tea, a few grapes, a leftover half eaten bit of toast, a few chocolates ... I just cannot stop eating.
I haven't gained more than a few pounds but feel so bloated and saggy and there are tailored work clothes and a few of my more unforgiving jeans which I was wearing back in September which I am avoiding going near as I just don't think they'll do up.
Last weekend was a bit of a blow out on the basis I would get back to normal when the children went back to school but it's been another week and this weekend has probably been even worst than the last.
Any words of wisdom or kicks up the backside?
