I'm currently 11 stone and would
Like to get back to 8 stone. Back into my size 6 jeans. Any tips on how I should do this??

I'm 5ft 2, I lost 3 stone in 3months, went down from 11stone 11 to 8 stone 11 thanks to keto and a daily vigorous exercise for 30 mins at a time.

I won't lie it was hard, very hard at first but then it became easier, however it got to the point where I was worried about my health because of the high fat content in keto so I stopped keto altogether a month ago but have kept the daily exercise. My weight has stayed the same, I'd like to lose another 1/2 a stone but i think I'll leave that til the spring now.

Good luck, you can do it if you really want, for me I was starting to worry about my health and my weight was affecting my enjoyment of life.

Going from 20 stone to 17 stone could be done reasonaly safely in a couple of months. Dropping from 11 stone to 8 stone will probably take longer. You really need to nail your nutrition plan so you do not do yourself any harm. You will have a very low bodyfat percentage at 8 stone so please do not rush this.

Take photos/measurements too. After having a baby your hips get bigger so you might not fit into your jeans for a while but you’ll still be losing weight.

That's a good idea to take measurements. I didn't but realised today my wrists were smaller - I put on a watch and the strap was loose. My work shirt collars too are looser. All places I didn't even realise I needed to loose weight. I had only been concerned about my hips & waist. I haven't had any comments from anyone apart from my dh but hopefully people will notice it soon.

I'm 5'3" and have the disadvantage of being in my 60's. I lost 4 stone in just under 8 months ( 3 Feb to 25 September) I started at 13 stone and I've settled now at 8st 12lb. The weight loss was fairly constant and I've not had problems in maintaining yet. I tried to just take one day at a time and was advised that setting a firm time scale is one of the reasons diets fail.

Another reason diets fail is because the dieter falls off the wagon and instead of getting back on it decides that the day or week is now a write off. Just keep logging what you're eating and drinking and if you've gone over on one day maybe you can cut back on another. Chances are that even with a blip you'll still have a calorie deficit and it'll just slow things down a bit.
