if you've done it, whether you loved it or hated it please come and tell me all about your experience.
(Trustpilot reviews are, overall, very good)

I did it before lockdown and it worked for me. But I have put all the weight back on. I did it a second time and less successful. I think a lot depends on your coach and the other people in your group.
Report back here how you get on.

What date are you starting op?

So far I’m not that impressed with the group aspect. The coach doesn’t answer specific questions ever…

But the diet is good.

LucyFox · 18/10/2021 00:34

I tried it Jan/Feb 2020 & the first 3 weeks were good - I had high hopes - but then it went downhill fast. In the 8 weeks I was doing it I had 3 different “dieticians” none of whom actually answered the questions that were asked just gave “inspiration” and regurgitated what the book already said & I had zero response from them when I asked to be put on hold for a month due to a massive problem at work that meant I was working 12+hr days & couldn’t engage at all … In recent weeks I have been bombarded with “office“ to rejoin the program – anything from 10% to 50% discount. Unfortunately this just reinforces to me that they are just another money – driven business and not a health focused one. There is nothing new in the diet, it’s low-carb, high protein

I have previously done it as Our Path, with an NHS referral.

I had high hopes for the group aspect, as that's what I felt I needed, but my group was very quiet indeed, so it didn't feel like there was any discussion or mutual support.

The diet itself was OK, mainly Mediterraneany, lowish carb, whole foody, if i remember correctly. Some of the recipes were actually pretty good, and suitable for other family members.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone.

I've not actually signed up yet, just a bit unsure if it's for me. Most comments here aren't too positive and it's quite expensive as I have a lot of weight to lose so it will take a long time. Unsure!

I did it from August till December. Some great recipes. My group were quite chatty. The coach was ok but didn't really make me feel she was an expert.
I lost weight very slowly but that may be my age Angry. There's no calorie counting- you only count processed carbs so no measuring as such.
I followed it very carefully and did everything I was supposed to do. Sadly at the end of my twelve weeks I slipped back into my old ways and I am now back to where I was when I started.
I decided to give it another try a couple of months ago because I did enjoy the group and the recipes. This time the coach was better but the group were much less chatty! I stopped in the end.
They are excellent on customer service so I am sure if you try it for a month and don't get on they will cancel your membership without any issue. At least you will have the great recipes!

Thanks Magissa. Indeed - I'm afraid of following it then slipping back into old ways, I've done that far too often in the past. I need to find something sustainable that fits my lifestyle so I don't feel like I'm either on or off the wagon, if that makes sense.

The first time I did it I found it brilliant. Smallish group but very chatty, I liked that aspect, lots of motivation.

Second time round I had a massive group, couldn't get into it at all - things moved too quickly for me to keep up.

On the whole I enjoyed the recipes and still use some of them, but I found it difficult to stick to when I wasn't at home and cooking for myself (although that's may be easier if you eat meat, which I don't). If you can get a discount code or free trial I'd definitely give it a try OP, but I did find it a bit expensive for what it was!

Why not try bootcamp on here - it's free!

It's low carb - strict for 1st 2 weeks then can opt for a light approach or choose to carry on. No calorie counting, just stick to basic rules and it's cooking from scratch / whole good compatible too...

Lots of people on the threads to help with motivation or issues too.
