Get walking. Build up to 15000 steps a day (only about 7 miles)

I’ve got about 1 and a half stone to loose and also menopausal. Doing a mix of fasting 7pm to 1pm next day. Also walking longer distances daily. I feel better and the weight is slowly coming off.

Hi op.

I'm nearly 55 and have lost just over a stone and a half since last June-ish.

It's do able but not a breeze. I really upped my walking, going for at least 10k steps, ideally 15k steps each day. I also tried to eat sensibly with very little junk. I have a really sweet tooth, so I found that hard.

I joined a local bootcamp group in March this year and do 3-4 sessions a week with them, which is great. I'm so much more toned, even my bingo wings.

I could do with losing another half stone to get to my ideal weight, but not too fussed at this point.

Good luck on your journey.

I've cut out crisps I could eat 2 packets a day Blush and other snacks between my meals and I'm counting calories I've lost 11lLbs in 6 weeks I "allow" myself some wine and a packet of crisps at the weekend . I was always naturally slim so never dieter but with lockdowns and menopause I put on 2 stone. Good luck
