Tips for time of the month

I am losing weight. Three weeks of the month I am fine, have no issues sticking to plan. I am using exante meal replacement products and one normal meal in the evenings. This is what works for me that I can stick to and lose weight.

But oh my god, the days leading up to my period (like today) I am ravenous! I try to eat more, like three healthy meals a day, but I am still soooooo hungry and craving loads of cards (read chocolate and KFC). It isn't totally cancelling out my weight loss, but is making it take longer and is mentally quite challenging to see the scales go up and down.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what can help?

Eat more lean protein, drink plenty of water. Protein takes longer to process so you feel fuller for longer. Water fills you up and is calorie free plus has many other benefits.

Also try taking the edge off by chewing gum or having a low calorie jelly for the sweetness or try brushing your teeth so you are less likely to want to eat something.
