Forgive me if there is already a thread about this but does anyone want to share your tips for low cal family meals?
Thank you.

Smaller portion of usual dish, (for example, Lasagna), served with half a plate full of salad or green veg.

Puddings served in a small ramekin instead of big bowl. Otherwise just have one good quality chocolate from chocolate box with coffee.

Do the calorie counts and adjust portions accordingly. This calculator is good:

Hairy Dieters books are good for this their low cal chicken tikka masala is fabulous as is lamb kebab, salmon with cabbage, beef stew (though any of the recipes with courgette I avoid after an unfortunate experience with their green pasta and courgette and turkey burger both were horrible!)

Try the pinch of nom website. They have loads of low cal family friendly meals. We use them a lot as I'm trying to loose weight and I'm not making different meals for everyone else in the family!
