I’m a week into following my macros goals from Macros Inc (just the free version, I haven’t signed up for a coach) and whilst I’ve joined the Fbk group and am finding that useful, it seems to mostly be Americans. Was hoping there might be a few people on here doing it who would be able to share more UK-appropriate food suggestions etc.
Despite previously shunning the suggestion of tracking, I’ve actually really been enjoying it and I’ve lost 2lb this week (want to lose around 11lb in total). Eating much more protein has been a revelation - I still haven’t managed to reach my daily target yet but am getting much better and can really notice a difference to my hunger levels on the days when I eat more carbs.
I’ve gone from someone who used to snack on biscuits & chocolate all day long to not having any interest in sweet snacks - this is amazing to me! 🤣
