Weight management clinic (at GP surgery)

So my weight is at an all time high and the time has come where I have to do something about it. I called the doctors surgery to make an appointment and the receptionist asked what the appointment was for so I told her the reasons, one was a medical matter and the other was my weight. She said the GPs didn't deal with this issue and asked if I wanted to see a practice nurse at their weight management clinic.
I now have an appointment for 2 weeks time but I was just wondering what to expect besides the obvious of being weighed?

I guess she’ll offer you a diet plan and hopefully try and figure out if you have emotional dependency on food. There might be group courses you can join m. Referral to a dietician should be possible but you might have to try a group programme to start. Also might be gym membership, diet club membership on offer. Ask about green prescriptions. If you think you need counselling for emotional issues then ask. Then I assume she’ll set a date for you to come back and be weighed for progress.
