I need to lose 2 stone in 2 months for an event I've been invited to.

Is this doable and how? Any tips appreciated

(If I can lose a stone minimum that will be good enough for me)

I've lost exactly 2 stone in 3 months. Can't pretend it's been easy, it really hasn't.

I used MyFitnessPal and logged my food. (no need to pay for the premium version, the free one is enough to do that and keep track of intake and weight)

I practised 16/8. I eat lunch and early eve meal, no breakfast (fine, I've never been a breakfast fan). So only eat during 8 hours of the day.

I walk minimum 3 miles a day, often 4 or 5. I only miss walking if it's bucketing with rain.

No alcohol except Friday and Saturday.

Cut out bread, except once a week. Cut out pasta. Have had small portion of new potatoes and small portion of rice intermittently. Cut out cheese.

No snacks.

That's it really!
Good luck.

It really depends on your starting weight? You'd need to be losing 3,5lb/week to reach 2 stone in 2 months (assuming 8 weeks). That's a deficit of 1,750 calories a day... Unless you're very heavy, this is a VERY low cal diet combined with A LOT of exercise and zero slip ups.

Be kind to yourself and maybe just start on a regular diet/lifestyle change and aim for a more realistic 1-2 lb/week? I'd suggest using a TDEE calculator to see how much you need to maintain and then subtract 500 cals per day and up your exercise on top of that? Using myfitnesspal as per above to track your calore intake.

Yes.... I averaged 1.5lb loss a week. Some weeks were just 1lb.

The first week I lost a ridiculous 7lb, but think that was water retention or something.

You don't need to you want to.

But either way, no you can't realistically unless you are planning on living on water, lettuce and multivitamins for 8 weeks.

You CAN probably lose a stone and really tone up in that time though and you will feel better so much better it won't matter about the second stone.

After that get some decent sucky in undergarments and your hair done and you will look fab I'm sure.
