I’ve been following the 16:8 way of eating for a few months now and really do it as it reduces the number of calories I eat and stops me snacking in the morning or evening. Is this the reason most people fast this way? Or are there other benefits to fasting that affect your body in another (positive) way?
This is an eating plan I actually don’t find too difficult (except for the weekend when the wine and crisps come out) and this coupled with calorie counting/exercise has meant I’ve lost a few lockdown pounds. However when DH asks why I do it, I suppose I can’t really explain why except to lose weight…
