Plateau - any advice to get moving again

I seemed to have hit a plateau in my weight loss, I'm 5ft 11in and currently 12st 10lbs and have been at this weight despite cutting and logging calories and exercising four times a week (mix of spin/running/HIIT/walking)

Any ideas of how I can get things moving again, I don't want to lose loads more, perhaps another stone at most. I know the last bit of weight is tough to lose, but I am not exactly lightweight (still overweight according to BMI) so wasn't expecting to plateau with a stone to go.

You may find this useful:

Apparently, hitting a plateau is a GREAT thing, even though it definitely doesn’t feel like it when it happens! There’s a link in that article to another article with tips that may help to break the plateau.

There’s a group called Team RH, you can find them on Facebook, they’re great.

But, in general, make sure you are weighing everything properly and counting your steps. Calorie deficit is the only way!

That article is interesting, never thought about how your body needs to resettle to then kick start again.

I've heard some negative stuff about RH Fitness in regards to bullying etc. No idea if it's true but it has made me wary.

I think I need to shake up the exercise I do and also take measurements. I haven't done this yet and it could be that there are losses there rather than on the scales.

Have you recalculated your TDEE? Sometimes people carry on eating at their original weight deficit even though your calorie requirements change with weight loss.

Otherwise just keep plodding along and it will all fall off at once eventually. I've been in 3 month plateaus before where the weight just then all of a sudden went woosh even though I hadn't changed anything.
