Anyone has stopped eating all the things they can’t eat in moderation in order to reset ?

For me it’s cheese, sweet and chocolate. I have to have these everyday and a lot of it. I’m very overweight and I really want to do something about it so I’m going to cold turkey and try to find other ways to reward/comfort myself. I’m going to give myself a 28 days plan then only reintroduced cheese to my diet. Anyone has done something similar and lost weight ?

I did! Lost 2.5 stone.

For what it's worth I did the James Duncan diet religiously for a week (you only do it for a week at a time) then stuck to the basic concept with a few variations.

I had one day off on a Saturdays but didn't go wild

The best thing was not eating processed food and lots of fruit and veg. Like a total reset.

I used nutracheck (£23 a year)to track calories abs weight /counted everything (eg 8 grapes!) and watched my portions.

Typical day/
B 1 slice dry toast with nice jam
L- melon grapes and ham with a peach plum (unlimited fruit)
D- chicken and carrots and brocoli (4x per week batch cooked) or Salmon and roast med veg (twice per week batch cooked )
2 x rich tea biscuits if I wanted them or fruit 0% yoghurt
