Other than the actual weight loss itself?

I'll start by saying feeling smaller and more agile.

Spending less money on food!

And (kind of gross but...) I poo a lot less!

Spring in step (I guess this is attributed to being more agile due to less weight being carried around).

I also sweat less in hot weather but sweat more efficiently whilst exercising - usually due to being fitter and having less rolls/chaffing when walking around!!!

I love clothes and I find it much simpler to put an outfit together when I am not having to wear a tent to disguise my fat.

I think I look younger and I definitely feel more confident.

LodgerDodging · 25/07/2021 20:43

Definitely much easier to dress oneself!
And it is more comfortable not having folds that touch when you sit/bend/get into a different position

Feeling more lithe and energetic.

Cazzovuoi · 25/07/2021 21:13

I can be on top without everything wobbling Grin

You look great in clothes, you feel more confident, better sex, less hot in summer, you can wear clothes based on what you like rather than whether they hide the fat, you have more energy, you don’t feel like you are being judged when you eat in public, it lowers your risk of cancer, heart disease and diabetes, extends life span, you are no longer the fat friend, you can buy clothes from high street stores, you don’t have to hide from the camera..

More energy.
Better skin because I'm eating healthier.
Easier to play with DC.
Less sweaty
More active with DH.
Lower grocery bills.
Prettier bra options
Feet don't hurt so much
Don't get backache so frequently
Nicer clothes
Compliments

Stopped farting
Stopped snoring
Can do everything asked of me in Yoga and Pilates
Can run over 5k
I have a whole new wardrobe of lovely clothes I could not get into before, some with the price tags still on.
Even more new clothes because I've bought some too.
Plenty of energy, the dog is getting quite worn out with extra walks that I just want to take her on!
I feel happy and a little bit proud.

Getting on this thread as I need to lose weight again :(
When I did successfully lose weight, all my odd joint pains just vanished.

GalaxyGirl24 · 26/07/2021 15:02

Same! I have 2 stone to go to get to GW 10s7. When I've been around 10 previously I've had zero eczema and asthma due to cleaner eating habits!
I've had more energy
Felt more confident during sex
Wear anything in my wardrobe instead of changing my outfit 5 times
Can have my arms out in summer (confidently)
Feel generally more in control

I’ve lost 19 kilo this year .
Mine are :

Not feeling embarrassed about my weight when meeting up with family or friends I haven’t seen in a long time

Compliments from people ( although I feel so embarrassed by them at the time but AFTERWARDS in my own time I enjoy them lol)

I use to buy clothing based solely on what looked flattering on me but now I can buy clothing I like the style of too .

More energy

Rarely bloated/ gassy

I’m quicker when I run 🏃‍♀️

I can fit my old jeans

My face looks better ( glowing skin & more defined features with the weight now gone )
