Anyone gained weight due to working from home?

Apologies if this has been done already, I scanned the forum and couldnt find a specific thread.

I have definitely been able to drink more alcohol, although my work is 'creative' and flexible, much to my detriment in this case!
Prior to covid I was a long term slender 8st at 5'4. (I still worked form home but was outdoors, moving around a LOT because I don't drive).

I am now a stone heavier, but it is puffy, bloated weight that aggravates my IBS, too. I admit to having a bottle of wine several times per week Blush and am now on the first week of having stopped. I feel a ton better, with fab skin and sleep but no weight change yet.

To be honest, I have dropped the booze because it has altered my mood for the worse and got in the way of my life, (it actually makes me depressed and anxious) but sorting out my belly and puffiness would be a nice perk.

Anyone else?

Me. Despite exercising regularly I cancel it all out with snacks. I too have stopped drinking, just to save calories but I’m a stone heavier than I would like. I think walking around my work building and to and from the car park made a difference. I’ve now bought a Fitbit to keep on top of steps but I know I need to eat less too.

Interesting!
I have been back out walking almost every day since early march and am not losing any weight from it, even though my activity levels are now similar to before covid Confused

The only thing I have done more and consistently since covid is drink alcohol. I am hoping quitting the drinking will make a dent!
